Australians can now enjoy Hemp Nutrition in bottles of milk – Hemp milk, that is. The non-dairy product is a blend of hemp seeds, salt, filtered water and date paste, and it’s highly nutritious.

The release of Hemp milk into the Australian market follows the Food Standards Australia New Zealand’s decision in November 2017, to legalise hemp for human consumption.

Hemp seeds are loaded with vitamins and minerals, and they contain the two essential fatty acids that the human body cannot produce, omega-3 and omega-6.

Hemp is not to be confused with marijuana, which has a THC, (the psychoactive ingredient), level of 10-20 percent, whereas industrial hemp contains less than 0.3 percent. So you can’t get high from hemp.
