The Uses of Hemp have been aided by a new company, Prairie PROducers LLC, in Olivia, Minnesota. Brothers Paul and Tim Seehusen were inspired by the past.
PROducers LLC will process locally grown industrial hemp. The fibres, biomass and grain will then be processed to make products as far ranging as textiles and clothing, to biodegradable bottles and high protein oils.
In trying to move forward, the brothers have been looking back at a time when Renville and other nearby counties were growing the crop for rope and other products needed for the military during WWII.
