Sustainable clothing is one of the many Uses of Hemp and several American clothing retailers have a keen interest in it. One of them is Patagonia.
Patagonia is an American outdoor clothing company, specializing in high-end outdoor clothing. As a member of several environmental movements, it’s not surprising that the company is an advocate of legalizing industrial hemp in the U.S.
Aiming to inform people about the benefits of farming industrial hemp in the U.S., Patagonia posted a documentary film called Harvesting Liberty on its blog. The film features the area in Kentucky where hemp was first legalized.
