Cultivating hemp seems to be all about CBD these days, but one county in NY is looking at all the Uses of Hemp for growth opportunities.
Sullivan County is eager to explore all the opportunities that industrial hemp can bring. Hemp has literally thousands of uses, from fabric and food to furniture and building materials.
The concept was initiated by chairman Rob Doherty and sustainability coordinator Heather Brown. They aim to propel the county’s hemp industry forward, providing crop alternatives for farmers and giving the economy a boost.
