Sarah Gibson, a hemp farmer in New Zealand, helps shed light on the many Uses of Hemp and the plethora of products available.
According to Gibson, there are over 50,000 products that can be made from hemp. Even cars can be made with hemp plastic. This was done by Henry Ford back in the forties. The material was ten times stronger than steel and it weighed much less.
The many uses of hemp range from biodegradable plastics and materials to paper and clothing. It is far better than cotton, not only because of its strength and durability, but also because it is eco-friendly.
There is also a long list of medicinal and food products that come from this amazing plant, many of which can now be found on shop shelves.
