A Canadian instrument maker has stepped up the game in new Uses of Hemp with the world’s first Hemp Wood guitar.
JOI Guitars has created an acoustic guitar built out of hemp, one the world’s most sustainable tonewoods. Reuben Forsland of JOI Guitars came up with the idea after extensive experimentation, in order to ensure that this could actually be done using the hemp product.
When you look at this new material, you discover just how beneficial it is for our planet, with its quick re-growth and carbon neutrality.
Forsland is hoping that by making this ground-breaking new guitar, it will give a push to others to find more new and environmentally friendly ways of building musical instruments.
