While conducting research for his latest book, Hemp Bound, Doug Fine discovered that hemp could potentially provide food and energy solutions that would enable the U.S. to be economically independent. Not to mention the billion-dollar rich agricultural economy it could create. And maybe we could even see a decrease in resource disputes! 
There are many Uses of Hemp, boasting over 25,000 uses. This is not surprising when you consider that fact that hemp has been cultivated for millions of years, and now we are discovering even more uses of this industrious plant.
In Sterling, Colorado, president of the Colorado Hemp Project, Bill Billings, explains that hemp fibre can be used to build super capacitors for battery storage components. This technology can store energy for solar-powered properties, for starters.
