There are thousands of Uses of Hemp, but would you believe one of them is building an eco-friendly house out of hemp? Nick Voase, a farmer of East Yorkshire, did just that. 
Nick has been growing hemp on his farm since 2002, together with wheat. He has his own processing machine on site so he can process the hemp himself.
Most of the hemp he grows is used to make insulation and mattresses, and some is used to make animal bedding and briquettes for wood stoves. Nick’s interest, however, was in the use and production of hemp as a building material.
