Hemp has been cultivated around the world for over 12,000 years. There are thousands of Uses of Hemp, from food and cosmetics to fuel and plastics.
As food, hemp seed hearts are high in protein, calcium, iron and omega-3. There are several hemp food products such as hemp protein powder, hemp oil and hemp milk.
Hemp textiles have been used in China since 8,000 B.C. and today it is commonly used to make shoes, jeans, and other clothing items. Other hemp products include paper, resin, rope, building materials and plastic goods.
Industrial hemp can also be used to cleanse soil of toxic waste and heavy metals.
