The Uses of Hemp were well known back in 1938, and Popular Mechanics magazine often published articles about its many uses and benefits.
Included on the long list of hemp uses are fish nets, canvas, linens, clothing, paper and many other items for daily use.
Industrial hemp is currently grown in over 30 countries and the U.S. has recently joined the fold. The 2018 Farm Bill brought the legalization of hemp production out of the shadows of the Controlled Substances Act.
Hemp is now a standard agricultural commodity and the state of New York is actively supporting their farmers in becoming leaders among growers.
