Hemp vs. Marijuana – The great debate began because Cannabis is a plant with two distinct varieties. One being marijuana, the illegal branch of the family, with a high THC content that gives it its drug definition and the high that many speak of. The second is hemp, with less than 0.3 percent THC, which means it gives you absolutely no high at all.
Hemp is an astounding and versatile crop that grows readily in many climates. It is cheap and easy to grow, demonstrated by the fact that it can grow in close proximity to itself, needs little by way of fertilizers and pesticides, and has a prestigious growth rate which makes it one of the best and simplest crops to get into.
The many uses of this plant are well-documented from cloth to rope, from building materials to car parts and last but by no means least, food!
