Oregon is experiencing a Hemp vs. Marijuana issue. Marijuana advocates are up in arms as the hemp industry starts to take hold.
Marijuana growers are concerned that low-THC hemp grown in their area will cross-pollinate with their crop and jeopardize the THC content of their recreational and medicinal marijuana.
Certain lawmakers are stepping in, with hopes of restricting hemp growers from farming in nearby regions of outdoor medical marijuana farms.
