Hemp advocates in Colorado hope to set up a hemp growers co-operative. While visiting an experimental hemp plot, they learned about potential Hemp vs. Marijuana issues. 
A small number of plants were grown in order to produce hemp seed. However, these plants may have accidentally come into contact with a male marijuana plant, which means the seeds could have too much THC in them.
Efforts are being made to determine whether or not marijuana and hemp can be grown close to each other without cross-contamination.
