Wisconsin is experiencing a fast-growing hemp industry, but banks are slow to get on board. Some hemp businesses are still having difficulties with banks, due to continued skepticism about hemp’s close to relation to marijuana.
Particularly businesses involved in selling hemp or CBD are finding banks worried about breaking state and federal laws.
