The questions around Hemp vs. Marijuana have been ongoing for quite some time now, but the 2018 Farm Bill has finally set them apart.
In December 2018, the U.S. Federal Government approved the legalization of industrial hemp, making it an agricultural commodity along the likes of grain, meat and dairy.
While hemp has been removed from the list of controlled substances, marijuana has not been so lucky. Let’s take a closer look at the differences between these two plants, and why marijuana remains on the list.
