Wyoming’s Hemp Politics started back in 2015 with Gov. Mark Gordon’s approval of the state’s first hemp growing and processing plan.
The hemp industry in Wyoming is finally opening up, and for Campbell County resident Frank Latta, it’s about time.
The 2015 legislation gave the Wyoming Department of Agriculture (WDA) the jurisdiction to develop regulations for hemp and processing in the state. In February this year, the USDA approved the WDA’s plan for this years crop.
