In the U.S, Hemp Politics have made more progress as Wisconsin’s hemp program is set in stone. The hemp trials in 2018 received much interest and bipartisan support.
Last year, Wisconsin started a hemp pilot program with 250 licenses. This number grew by almost a thousand with over 1200 hemp growers and more than 500 hemp processors in 2019.
With this clear growth of Wisconsin’s hemp industry, Gov. Evers was pleased to give the industry its final push by signing into law, a bill to make hemp a permanent part of the state’s agricultural sector.
The growing popularity of hemp in Wisconsin and all across the U.S., is ensuring hemp’s revival as an opportunistic and profitable crop.
