In Canadian Hemp Politics, the recent legalization of cannabis has opened doors for hemp growers. The law changes have made it easier for farmers to tap in to this highly profitable industry.
Last week, at the Southwest Agriculture Conference, which took place at the University of Guelph, hemp growers Reuben and Keanan Stone talked about the benefits of cannabis legalization on the hemp industry.
According to the Stones, Canadian farmers have become much more interested in growing hemp since the new cannabis laws were put in place. Reduced regulations for growing hemp means more opportunities and profit potential, which is good incentive for farmers.
