Not everyone considers milk and bread as pantry staples anymore. Scott Gooding, former host of My Kitchen Rules and cookbook author, advocates Hemp Nutrition by putting hemp seeds on his list of ‘must haves’ in his pantry.
Gooding lists hemp seeds among his five essential pantry ingredients. Alongside hemp seeds are bone broth, turmeric, chili and blueberries. As a strong supporter of clean, healthy living, he has elected these five items because each one is fully loaded with nutrition.
Hemp seeds are an excellent source of protein and contain the essential fats and vitamins. He advises adding them to your regular diet in the form of hemp oil, hemp powder or hemp seed hearts. They’re great as a salad or cereal topping!
