The University of Kentucky is one of five universities in the U.S. conducting hemp pilot projects. Their hemp seeds went into the ground on May 27th, and the plants are already 5-feet tall.
13 hemp varieties are being tested at UK, to find out which have the greatest yield in the Kentucky climate.
