There is a lot of talk about carbon capture these days, specifically carbon capture technologies. But why look at pricey technologies for sequestration solutions when we have hemp? Hemp can capture carbon at a far lower cost.
It is a proven fact that industrial hemp can absorb more CO2 per hectare than forests or any other commercial crop. This fact was proven by scientists more than ten years ago, but expensive studies continue to invest in carbon capturing technologies.
Hemp is available to us worldwide, and it has thousands of uses that can provide sustainable alternatives.
