Hemp in the News takes us to Queensland, Australia, where a small group of industry members have formed the State’s first hemp association.
The association, made up of hemp growers, processors and advocates, has been aptly named the Queensland Hemp Association, and is certain to help the State’s hemp industry gain momentum.
The Queensland Hemp Association will represent the last remaining state to join the Australian Hemp Council (AHC), a national organization that aims to unify the industry, especially regarding communication at the government level.
The formation of these hemp associations is a big leap forward for Australia’s hemp industry.
