Pueblo, Colorado brings Hemp in the News this week. It’s hemp industry had a slow start in 2015, due to state and federal laws that held back access to plants and seeds.
However, the results of what growers managed to plant are positive, and the Pueblo Economic Development Corporation is backing the hemp industry and including it as one of the three main industries for development. 
The program manager for the Colorado Department of Agriculture says they are still doing tests on the plant and gaining information on how to best handle the product.
