In Las Vegas, a cannabis processing manufacturer is putting Hemp in the News. Not because of its cannabis equipment, but its fight against COVID-19.
GreenBroz, a company that produces harvesting equipment for the hemp and cannabis industries, has turned its focus to helping fight the COVID-19 pandemic.
Personal protective equipment (PPE) is of utmost importance in the battle against COVID-19. However, as GreenBroz CEO, Cullen Raichart, said, front line workers don’t have enough supplies so they’re reusing the same equipment without reliable ways of cleaning them.
GreenBroz has developed a machine called the “PPE Remidiator.” It uses chlorine dioxide to wash up to 500 masks at a time. With FDA approval, expected to come soon, the machines could be in hospitals within the next three weeks.
