Australia is keeping Hemp in the News these days, as there is yet another delay by the decision-makers of industrial hemp legalization. A decision will not be made until next January when the Australian and New Zealand health and agriculture ministers meet.
According to Phil Reader, president of the Industrial Hemp Association of Tasmania, the bureaucrats are deliberately slowing down the process. He claims they have all the information they need to make a decision.
Australia is one of the only countries in the world that does not allow the use of hemp seeds and oil as food.
