A Florida businessman puts Hemp in the News this week with his recently-built sports car. It’s environmentally friendly and carbon neutral.
The car, built with the frame of a Mazda convertible and three layers of woven hemp, weighs less than fibre glass cars. Hemp is also a very strong material, and is estimated to be ten times less likely to dent than steel.
The man responsible for the “cannabis car” is Bruce Michael Dietzen from Florida. He’d like to see his automobile help boost hemp’s reputation.
