Colorado puts Hemp in the News this week with yet another ‘first’ in the world of hemp.
The Colorado Department of Agriculture has implemented a hemp seed certification program – the first of its kind in the U.S. Under this program, hemp seeds that have passed inspections will qualify for “CDA Approved Certified Seed” labels.
The program will gain validation for industrial hemp, assisting hemp farmers and the industry as a whole. This is one more step towards eliminating the stigma attached to the hemp plant.
