Colorado brings Hemp in the News once again. Industrial hemp has been nicknamed the “wonder crop,” due to it’s many uses. Since Colorado residents voted to legalize both hemp and marijuana, hemp advocates are expecting Colorado to be the centre of hemp product development industries. 
However, even though Colorado grew the first legal hemp crop in the U.S. in over 50 years, it will be a while before the hemp harvest is used for making products.
Because of a federal ban on transporting hemp seed in and out of the States, it’s difficult for farmers to get their hands on hemp seeds, so they will be saving their harvested seeds for next year’s crop.
