Frank Qin is the mastermind behind this unprecedented feat. His hydroponic boxes, designed for home-based cannabis cultivation, are just the beginning. Qin, owner of Ontario-based Mary Agrotechnologies, has obtained a license to grow hemp for CBD in a country with immense marketing potential.
In China, CBD is only permitted for products with external use, such as lotions and cosmetics. However, with the growing popularity of CBD’s medicinal benefits, it is highly likely that China will soon join the world-wide CBD market.
