A group of Dallas oil and gas businessmen teamed up to start Hemp Farming in early 2020, despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.
2020 will go down in history as one of the worst years to start a new business, but for some it was a year of success and great fortune. John Paul Merritt, Nick Strawn and George Overbey joined forces in March 2020 to start a hemp business, Delta AG. The company is already profiting $16 million, and is expected to profit $100 billion in 2022.
Delta AG is the biggest all-encompassing hemp supplier in the U.S. The company grows, processes, manufactures and distributes its own product. This greatly reduces its costs, and allows full control from seed to harvest and delivery.
