Hemp Farming is an exemplar of sustainable agriculture, which is why members of New Zealand’s hemp industry are prompting farmers to grow it.
Richard Barge, chair of the New Zealand Hemp Industry Association, is imploring farmers to attend the iHemp Summit & Expo in Rotorua next month. He wants them to learn more about hemp, a highly favourable crop that could benefit New Zealand’s agriculture and its farmers.
Hemp provides farmers with a solution to the government’s pressure for sustainable agriculture, including water pollution and greenhouse gas emissions. Hemp can mitigate these environmental obstacles.
