Mexico is recognizing Hemp as Medicine as, for the first time ever, the Health Department granted a permit for importing cannabidiol (CBD) hemp oil. The oil is being imported from Medical Marijuana, Inc., who proudly made this news public.
11 year-old Alina Maldonado Montes de Oca received one of the first permits. Her father traveled sixteen hours to pick it up. These permits are making history, marking Mexico’s first importation of non-psychoactive cannabis oil.
Stuart W. Titus, CEO of Medical Marijuana, Inc, thanked the government of Mexico for understanding the importance and need for CBD oil for Alina and others. He said the permits mark a new stage in world history, and a monumental change in the cannabis laws in Mexico.
