Thailand-based renewable energy company, Gunkul Engineering, is investing 2 billion baht in cannabis cultivation and Hemp as Medicine.
Gunkul Engineering is building a cannabis plantation and CBD production facility on their wind turbine farm. The company wants to reap the benefits of the new state policy that removed marijuana and hemp from the controlled substances list. There is unused land on Gunkul’s wind farm, so it’s an ideal opportunity.
CBD, (cannabidiol), is used as treatment for an array of medical conditions. Relieving chronic pain, reducing anxiety and depression, and alleviating cancer-related symptons, are just a few examples of what CBD can help with.
