Durable, sustainable textiles is one of the many Uses of Hemp, and Thailand is setting its sights on the global hemp fibre market.
The Industry Ministry has assigned the Department of Industrial Promotion (DIP) with developing new ideas for research to bring the country’s fibre industry up to international standards.
The industry has recently reached a growth rate of 5% per year, however, it is expected to grow to over 30%.
