Minnesota Department of Agriculture (MDA) put Hemp in the News last week with plans to begin hemp production in the state.
With the agreement of the USDA, the MDA announced their plans to continue its pilot program of hemp cultivation. The pilot program now has several thousand acres in Minnesota.
The MDA is still experiencing some teething problems in respect to regulations and testing. Despite this, they are ready to proceed with the renewed industry of hemp farming and production.
