Our first ever vegan & hemp recipe contest has finished up, and on August 8th in the Roberts Creek Hall at the first ever Sunshine Coast VegFest we announced the winner: Barbara Townsend-Batten, from Ontario, with her fabulous concoction, a Coconut Cloud Pie with Hemp Date Nut Crust. Canada Hemp Foods was delighted to sponsor this exceptional festival and participate with a display and sales table, and we sent many people home with our hemp hearts and protein powder. The event was very much a success, especially for a first year debut, and is surely the first of many.

Barbara wins $100 worth of Canada Hemp Foods products, a signed copy of Gene Baur’s book, Living the Farm Sanctuary Life, and a one-on-one vegan lifestyle coaching session with Certified Holistic Nutritionist Deb Gleason.
