Two young men in Australia think the answer to the Hemp vs. Marijuana debate is to educate the public in order to still the argument.
As early as 2013, Lauchlan Grout and Harrisson Lee believed there was a great future in industrial hemp. At the time, these two young men were only twenty years old. Their belief was so strong that it inspired them to start their own hemp company, Hemp Farms Australia. With rules and regulations slowly happening, beginning in 2017 with the legalisation of hemp for human consumption, the hemp industry is really starting to take off in Australia.
The crop has long been misunderstood, and the job of opening peoples eyes to the differences between hemp and marijuana still needs to be addressed through educational marketing.
