Despite growing awareness of Hemp vs. Marijuana, their resemblance has high-seekers plucking hemp plants from farmer’s fields. Hemp and marijuana look and smell the same, but hemp differs from its controversial cousin in that it won’t get you high.
In Pennsylvania, a man was recently caught stealing hemp plants from a farmer’s field. He thought he’d hit the pot jackpot, but he learned the hard way that they are two very different plants. The farmer, Ashleigh Baldwin, said it wasn’t the first time this has happened.
Pennsylvania is one of 33 states that allows medicinal marijuana. It is normally grown indoors, however, and for good reason.
