‘True Leaf Medicine,’ a B.C. medical marijuana company, is embarking on hemp-based pet foods with a plan to eventually produce CDB (cannabidiol) medicinal products for pets. 
The company’s CEO, Darcy Bomford, has decades of experience in pet nutrition. He recognizes the benefits of Hemp Nutrition, with its high protein and fibre content, and plans to launch a nutritional hemp-based dog chew product this fall.
Once the nutritional pet products are established, the company will move forward with developing cannabis-based pet medication that will be veterinary-approved.
