Hemp in the News in the Czech Republic, has supporters of marijuana legalization wanting to see a change in the laws, and they’re seeking political support.
Marijuana laws in the Czech Republic are less strict than in many other countries, but it is not yet legal. Advocates of marijuana legalization are promoting the fact that pot is no more dangerous than alcohol. They aim to bring awareness to the hypocrisy of laws that sentence people with marijuana possession with lifetime imprisonment, while alcohol is fully permitted.
The 17th annual Million Marijuana March is on May 10th, 2014, starting in Karlova námêsti and ending on a hilltop park in Prague.
